My grandmother came to America from Norway when she was four years old.
I have always dreamed of learning Norwegian and visiting Norway for six months to a year.
My husband graduates in May with his Chemical Engineering degree. He's looking for a job in Norway.
Small world, eh?
Yep. We're going to try to move to Norway. How crazy is that! They have the highest cost of living in Europe and the highest standard of living in the world. After the past four years of scrimping, pinching, and living from penny to penny, I'm ready to take a step up in my standard of living.
There are a lot of reasons why we want to move overseas and many reasons why we've chosen Norway. Oddly enough, my heritage had nothing to do with our choice!
It's an exciting and daunting prospect. I am looking forward to seeing how it all pans out.

That is AMAZING! What a wonderful opportunity! Of course, we'll miss you here - but isn't that what the internets are for?
