Today was a nice, relaxing day. Even though Little M woke up at 3am and crawled into bed with us for a while, it was still nice to be woken up this morning by his bright, smiley face. He looked so proud of himself that he got to wake up Momma.
Big M made turkey bacon for me (YUM!), then I was able to spend some quiet time playing a computer game and reading a book. I promptly fell asleep and took a little nap.
A friend came over to babysit so Big M and I could see a movie. It was great to get out without the kids. We saw Indiana Jones, then headed to Texas Roadhouse for steaks. Yet another "yum" for today!
When we got home, both of the kids were happy and excited to see us. Shaggy gave me lots of hugs and kisses. Little M immediately started asking for lunch (it was dinner time). It was nice to have the time away from them, then to come back home and feel loved and needed.
